Sexy TV actor Stefan rose to the challenge of Dancing On Ice from the disciplined ranks of The Bill, and with the help of an extensive background in rowing, he’s taking to his new sport like a duck to water.
“When I first got on the ice I was cocky but lacking any style...an ape on skates!” he admits, recalling some rather hairy experiences from earlier on in his training.
Fortunately for Stefan, his skating prowess evolved at an impressive pace prior to the competition itself. The night before the final skate-off of the first UK TV series, Christopher Dean said “Stefan is most probably the biggest surprise. He’s made such an improvement from where he started ... He's probably become the most capable skater. When you just watch him on the ice - when he just stands out there - he just looks like he’s a skater. The reason being - he’s fallen over so much that he’s mastered his centre of balance!”
“Now I feel like I don’t have the skates on, which is great!” Stefan revealed.
Making sure that Stefan did, in fact, remember his skates was Canadian skater and principle performer for The Royal Caribbean, Kristina Cousins. The pair just missed out on winning the series, losing in the final skate-off to Gaynor Faye. This time, in Dancing On Ice - The Tour anything could happen - you'll have to join us to find out!
