Jason “Mr Nasty” Gardiner became a household name through his appearances as a celebrity judge on “Dancing On Ice”.
Having travelled far and wide, Jason has lived a varied and colourful life spanning theatre, film, TV and cababret. He started at the tender age of 16, beginning his professional career in the original Australian cast of 42nd Street and then going on to perform in over 20 award-winning musicals over the past 17 years in three continents.
Jason was previously known by UK audiences as a judge on the BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” and also as Culture Expert on “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” – Jason’s colourfully descriptive comments and dry wit cause controversy but ultimately prove that he is not afraid to say what he really thinks. His family even jokes that when he was born he was a mouth and the rest of him grew round it!
